Dr. Tara Gallaway, DNP, FNP-C is a certified doctoral prepared family nurse practitioner who has practiced in numerous settings over her career including emergency medicine, primary care, psychiatry, and urgent care. She holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from East Carolina University located in Greenville, North Carolina and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from Liberty University located in Lynchburg, Virginia. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Tara was a registered nurse for over 10 years practicing in the emergency room most of those years. She takes pride in her empathetic and holistic practice style, thoroughly listening to her patients to help develop an appropriate and patient-centered treatment plan. During her personal time Tara enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking, kayaking, scuba diving, traveling and most importantly spending time with her family and pets.
